The power of dialogue and shared experience to create new meaning and new ways forward is not new, but incorporating this fully into the design of workshops is less often applied. We are currently utilising the “flipped learning” approach championed by Salman Khan at whereby most content will be delivered in a number of formats prior to the workshop. Participants will come to each session in the programme knowledgeable about the new frameworks and concepts. The focus of the workshop then becomes reflection, conversations and application of the new tools and models. Workshop facilitators become convenors of conversations rather delivers of content! Now that’s what learning looks like in this new digital age
